We are pleased to invite researchers, academics, practitioners, and industry professionals to submit abstracts and full papers for presentation at the 4th International Conference on Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics (ICMAL2026).

The conference provides a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and dialogue. We welcome contributions that offer new insights, empirical findings, theoretical discussions, or practical applications.

The main theme of the conference is Modern Languages and Linguistic Diversity in the Digital Age: AI, Innovation, and Social Impact.

Selected manuscripts submitted to ICMAL2026 will be considered for publication in indexed journals (SCOPUS/ERA/MyCite). Kindly be informed that the Article Processing Charge (APC) is the responsibility of the authors.

  • Abstracts should be no more than 300 words.
  • Papers are accepted in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Arabic.
  • Please include the title, author(s) name, affiliation, and keywords.
  • Submissions will undergo a peer-review process, and authors will be notified of acceptance via email.
  • Papers are accepted in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Arabic.
  • Full paper should be 6000 – 7000 words.
  • The total word count does not include the abstract, reference list and the appendices.
  • Kindly use the paper template provided.
  • Authors will be notified of acceptance via email.
  • The paper must include the following components:
    • TITLE
    • INTRODUCTION (RESEARCH BACKGROUND)
    • STATEMENT OF THE RESEARCH PROBLEM
    • RESEARCH OBJECTIVES OR QUESTIONS
    • IMPORTANCE OF THE STUDY, LIMITATIONS AND SCOPE OF THE STUDY
    • LITERATURE REVIEW (including the theoretical framework)
    • METHODOLOGY (research design, sampling, sampling methods, research instruments, data collection, and data analysis)
    • FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
    • CONCLUSION
    • REFERENCE LIST
    • APPENDICES (IF ANY)
